"It's all about the Big Smile.''
We at Bastl Boards believe that the mantra of skating is quite simple: have fun skating.

No rider should ever be held back in their progression of skating by their deck, and it's in this view we have taken an approach to produce quality over quantity. With two different collections to choose from we
are backing up riders of all styles, skill sets, and attitudes.

Our Artist Collection is made out of a vertical laminated birch core, carbon stringers and fiberglass. "Earth-Grounding-Energy-Absorbing" Sidewalls save the deck against deep impacts and give your board a much longer life expectancy.

The graphics show places around our hood in Leipzig, Germany. On the analog photographs (made by Waldi Bruch) you can see the old industrial buildings which are characteristic for our city. The characters drawn by
Ricaletto are parodies of existing people so if you pass by our local shop "Shredderei" for a coffee or beer it may happen that the captain stops and shouts out his "Ahoi!".

In contrast to the Artist Collection we kept designs clean and simple for the Wooden Collection. Using Canadian Maple, organic wooden stain, and natural hard wax oil, instead of common varnish; thats why they feel so good. The branded logo brings up the Wooden Collection to a round figure.
